A Postpartum Program by WellCare Health Plans
Nebraska moms have a new and exciting resource available to them – WellCare Health System’s FREE Baby’s First program will deliver timely support and information directly to your mobile device to help you better care for yourself and your baby. The program begins when the baby is born and continues 15 months post-partum. Throughout the program, Moms can learn more about properly caring for themselves and their baby – physically and emotionally.
How it Works
After signing up for this 15-month program, mothers receive three care messages weekly until the baby is six months old. After that, the mother receives two care messages weekly.
Content focuses on many areas of concern for new parents – including proper feeding, safe and adequate sleep and stress management.
Messaging is personalized based on the mother’s risk level, and includes links to detailed content and videos.
